Innovative Stromal Vascular Method
Regenera Activa is a medically researched procedure hailing from Spain, which uses autologous micrografts obtained from your own body. Small samples of skin of 2.5mm diameter are painlessly taken from the back of the scalp. These skin samples contain hundreds of thousands of cells (progenitor cells) that can activate resting hair follicles!
The precision engineered FDA approved Regenera Activa device further divides them into smaller, more absorbable portions called ‘micrografts’. Regenera Activa reverses ‘miniaturizing’ of the hair follicles that are affected by DHT and genetics. Then the micrografts are prepared and reintroduced to areas of the scalp that are experiencing hair loss.
The micrografts go to work immediately to reactivate weakened hair follicles by increasing the work rate of these follicles and stimulate new blood vessel formation to nourish these hair follicles that are now working harder.
In about 30 minutes, the entire process is well tolerated with ZERO downtime.
REGENERA ACTIVA PROCEDURE – STEP BY STEP
The perfect area in the occipital (back) part of the scalp is chosen by the trained and experienced physician. The area is then cleansed and anesthetised with a local anesthetic injection. 2.5mm punch biopsies (3-4 in number) are taken under aseptic conditions. This tissue which is rich in progenitor cells is then processed in a FDA approved sterile kit in such a way that the cells are not damaged. This is then mixed with a specific solution and with the help of insulin syringes are injected into the scalp. The patient is ready to continue the routine activity immediately after the procedure. No down time is required!
WHAT HAPPENS AS A RESULT OF REGENERA ACTIVA PROCEDURE
Firstly, a high capillary regeneration begins to occur. Although it changes from person to person, its effect starts to appear after 3 to 4 months. However, it shows its visual effect 6 months after the treatment. It’s completely natural and has no harmful effects. By using our own cells, with this technique, the scalp and current hair density are improved. This procedure allows the hair to return to its normal hair cycle. It activates the inactive hair cells under the scalp, to stimulate it to grow. It thickens and strengthens existing weak hair. Regenera Activa Therapy is suitable for both men and women.
