A carbon peel (HOLLYWOOD PEEL) is a revolutionary laser treatment that is completely painless with minimal-to-zero downtime. COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY aka MICRONEEDLING

Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) also known as Microneedling is the best non-invasive skin rejuvenation therapy present today.

It aims to improve the overall skin condition by stimulating the two fundamental skin building blocks – collagen and elastin.

Much like traditional skin rejuvenation procedures such as laser resurfacing and microdermabrasion, CIT stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, but in a painless and safer way with minimal or no side effects.

GETTING STARTED

Minimal post-procedure effects. The skin will appear slightly pink to red immediately post-procedure, similar to a mild to moderate sunburn. DERMAROLLER vs MICROPEN (dermapen)

• The Micropen is a more advanced delivery mechanism for Microneedling and has many advantages over the older method of Microneedling using a Dermaroller
• Micropens are less painful, less traumatic on the skin, and require less downtime. The Dermaroller inserts needles into the skin at a 45-degree angle. This tends to create tearing wounds as the drum is drug across the skin. In comparison, needles from the Micropen penetrate the epidermis vertically, creating a clean puncture wound that heals quickly.
• Micropens are more consistent. Micropens are motorized, allowing for controlled, consistent penetration of the skin, unlike Dermarollers, that are manually powered and often result in user error, puncturing the skin too deep or inconsistently.
• The Dermapen is more versatile. Because of its shape, Dermapens can easily treat areas of the face that a Dermaroller has difficulties with, such as around the eyes, the upper lip, and around the nose.

During a chemical peel, most people feel a burning sensation that lasts about five to ten minutes, followed by a stinging sensation. Putting cool compresses on the skin may ease that stinging. You may need pain medication during or after a deeper peel.
