Dr. Sahana Subramani is a Consultant Paediatric Radiologist in Chennai at Prashanth Hospitals. Her work covers imaging across pregnancy and childhood, including antenatal and obstetric scans, newborn and postnatal imaging, brain imaging (neuroimaging), whole body imaging in children and imaging for childhood cancers.
She holds an MBBS and an MD in Radiodiagnosis, and completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Paediatric Radiology at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore. She has also completed the SPIN Fellowship in paediatric neuroimaging, and holds the EDIR (European Diploma in Radiology) and DICR (Diploma in Clinical Radiology).
She reports ultrasound, CT and MRI scans for unborn babies, newborns, infants, children and teenagers, and works closely with the treating doctors so that scan results support diagnosis and treatment planning. She explains each scan to parents before it begins.
